UNIWeb – Applying for Funding


We understand that maintaining an academic CV and navigating the grant application process can be both challenging and time consuming. Our goal is to help you make the best use
of your time by providing the necessary tools to streamline your process. One of these tools is our publication import
feature. When you import publications into UNIWeb,
our software detects and eliminates any duplicates. UNIWeb also allows you to manually search for duplicate publications by section, year or month. So you can rest easy knowing that your list
of publications is accurate and complete. Once you have imported your data into UNIWeb,
or populated your CV using UNIWeb’s CV interface, you can select your desired funding template. UNIWeb supports a long list of funding sources. When you select your funding template, UNIWeb
will identify any incomplete records and will guide you though the process of resolving
those errors before you export to the CCV. Once you are ready to export your CV, UNIWeb
again gives you the option to verify your data based on a funding template. Some applications also ask that you only include
publications from, for example, the last 6 years. This feature saves you the extra step of having
to deselect your publications on the CCV website before submitting your application. Now all you need to do to export to the CCV
is enter your account username and password. You also have the option to export manually
by generating an XML file. UNIWeb, simplifying the creation and maintenance
of your academic CV.
