The BEST Achievement Details for your resumes and cover letters

The BEST Achievement Details for your resumes and cover letters

Are you uncertain about how and where to
add your achievement details to your resumes and cover letters? Do you know
which section of your resumes you should be putting your achievement details to?
In this video I’ll show you how to do exactly that and introduce you to using
keywords in your resumes and cover letters. Stay tuned. Hi I’m Matt from zoodal.com where we have a unique resume and cover letter builder, with suggestions
to help you complete each section of your resumes and cover letters. If you’re new
here, subscribe to the Zoodal youtube channel and click on the notification
bell icon to receive our weekly videos on resumes, cover letters and job
interviews. The skills and experience mentioned on the job description are
what employees specifically seek when they first scan your resume. Always apply
the keywords from each job description throughout your resume and cover letter.
We have a video dedicated to adding keywords to your resumes and cover
letters. A link to that video is in the description below. It’s also a good idea
to copy and paste the requirements and skills from the Job Description to your
resume and then reword them to fit your skills, accomplishments and achievements. When an employer recognizes their keywords scattered throughout your
resume and cover letter, they’ll know that you have the relevant skills and
abilities they’re seeking. You can add your achievements as separate headings
on your resumes as achievement details or online achievement details. Alternatively, you can add your achievements directly to each section of
your resume details such as your employment details. Both approaches have
their benefits. For example, adding your achievement to your employment details
can justify your skills and abilities in the workplace to the recruiter. This can help reinforce you and your skills in the mind of the recruiter as
you’re qualifying your abilities with your job accomplishments.
If you’re having trouble writing your achievements, use the suggestions on the
Zoodal website. Scroll down and select the suggestions that most closely match
your circumstances then change the generic data with your own information. Anytime you can add numbers and details to emphasize your accomplishments, do so.
It’s an excellent opportunity to put you ahead of other candidates that have the same or similar skill sets. For example, instead of writing sales manager
for 12 months, include numbers and details, such as: Increased sales by 22
percent over eight months by establishing stronger customer contacts. Remember to tailor each resume you create to each separate job description. This point is absolutely vital. If you decide to add your achievement details
in their own section on your resume, using the Zoodal website easily allows
you to do this. If you want to group your achievements into different categories,
select a specific achievement type or you can choose not to display the
achievement type at all. Alternatively, add your own achievement details which
will give you greater flexibility, then add your achievement details. Use the
suggestions to help you build your achievement details. We suggest that you
always use bullet points as they make your resume easier to read. You can save each
one of your achievement details together or separately
and then choose which achievement details to include in the different
resumes you create. This way you can tailor each one of your resumes to each
separate job description. If you have a novel way to include your achievement
details in your resumes, leave a comment below about what works best for you. I
