Pyongyang urges Seoul to resume Mount Kumgang tours, cultural exchanges


North Korea is calling on South Korea to lift
certain sanctions so as to allow cultural and humanitarian exchanges between the two
Koreas. In an editorial published on Saturday, Pyongyang’s
state-run daily, the Rodong Shinmun, also pressed Seoul to consider resuming tours to
North Korea’s Mount Kumgang resort.
