People have no time for shit websites. It excited me to think like maybe I could really do this as a career that’s when I was like okay I’m gonna do this. I’m gonna learn.
I’m gonna teach myself. My name’s Rebecca. I’m a digital designer I focus on websites and engaging customer experiences. I think it’s important to start with
small steps, like improving a customer experience. When I’ve given a brief – I
follow a structured design process and I make sure to ask the right questions, so that
I get the information that I need. I’m really focused on understanding what really makes a website engaging Does it actually meet what the customers want? So I re-designed The Department of Conservation website I created something
that everyday people can use to make a difference While I’m comfortable working
by myself I get a lot of energy from collaborating with other people on
projects I want to create digital solutions for
future generations that will make a lasting impact.
