Nobody really looks forward to job interviews. They can be scary, nerve-racking, and stressful. But here are some tips on how you can work through the nerves. First, drink some tea. Herbal tea is a great way to relax the muscles so you can really focus on the job interview. Ew, but wait! Make sure it’s cooled down first. Second, wash out the nerves. Take a long shower or bath. It will help you become more relaxed, alert, and help you bring your A game. Third, just breathe. Take long deep breaths to increase the oxygen in your body and this will help you relax before you go in. Fourth, treat yourself. Plan an activity after your interview. Something you know you’ll enjoy. For example, going out to get ice cream will give you something to look forward to when the interviews over. Fifth, believe in yourself. Now is really not the time for negative, self-destructing thoughts. Go in knowing in your head that you are right for the position and you’ve done everything you can to prepare for this interview. • Kim, I watched all the video you have on Job interviews. They were very helpful. It has been a very long time since I've had to go on an interview. Thank you so much for all the wonderful tips.

  • I have an interview today for my first job.. After watching all your videos I'm still excited about this.. I'm so nervous and I don't think it's going to go well 😁

  • I have my first job interview today and I am sooo nervous. In fact I couldn't even sleep last night but taking deep breaths as suggested is helpful! thnx

  • Can short height a barrier to get a good office or education related job?
I'm scared and scarred because of a previous experience. i have been made feel bad about my height which is just 5 and 5'3 with heels and turned down by one interviewer in past. Now I'm scared to go for a job that big, because all i think of is "no matter what my qualifications are, I'll be rejected eventually because I look like a dawrf".

  • Thank you for the tips! Appreciate the help, though I am not too nervous at all. It's my first interview, I don't have a proper formal outfit, and I haven't practised anywhere near enough (which is my bad). But, I know that this is going to be such a learning experience! Yes, I am going to stumble over my words, forget important information, maybe even be unable to answer some questions, but so what. It may be embarrassing when in the moment, but I can deal with that. Good video!
