How to Prepare for a Job Interview : Taking Calls After a Job Interview on a Private Phone

I’m Don Varney of Varney Speaks and on behalf
of Expert Village. Today we’re going to talk about the interview process. I think today
with the use of cell phones, to me, if I was out trying to get a job and I didn’t have
a private cell phone, I would go and invest in one of these 30 day contracts and get a
phone that nobody has that number except people that I give it to. The only people that would
get that number would be people that I am interviewing with trying to get a job. Go
get you a private phone. Make sure it’s only that number. Give that number out only to
the interviewers. You know that when that phone rings, it’s somebody calling about a
job. You don’t have to gamble that someone in your family may just pick it up and not
take the message. Sometimes that message can cost you 67,000 dollars a year. I know for
me, I rather spend 40-50 bucks for a month have a phone that I know they can get to.
