Contact details that should be included in your resume and cover letters, are details that you would like an interviewer or potential employer to use to contact you. Using the Zoodal website allows you to add different configurations of the same contact details. You can select to display your contact details one two or three per line. If you want to pad out your resume, try the display of one per line. Otherwise, two or three per line is a good choice, depending on how many of your contact details you add. Remember you can save the same contact details with different display settings, using different resumes. When you add your contact phone number or contact email address, make sure you don’t use your current employment details. This may cause an embarrassing situation if you haven’t already informed your employer that you’re seeking a new job, or may contravene a clause in your current employment contract. Even if you’ve told your current employer you’re seeking a new job, don’t use your current employment contact details as it may be awkward for the recruiter and your colleagues When you add a phone number, add only the one phone number, preferably the phone you’re most likely to answer. Also, make sure your voicemail is professional and polite. If you’re confident of a call back from a recruiter, enter the contact details to your phone, so the caller ID will be displayed when they contact you. If you’re applying for a job overseas or interstate, remember to add your country code and area code. When you add a contact email address, make sure you add a professional email address, one that is not ridiculous. Many recruiters will reject candidates if they have an unprofessional email address. Update your hotmail or yahoo email accounts. We suggest you use Gmail, especially if you’re applying to a tech savvy organization. It may be a good idea to use an email address exclusively for your job searching. This way you can personalize the email address to further reinforce your qualifications. Make sure you change your email address details on all your social media pages. Some employers will request details of your social media accounts and these URLs can be added as part of your address details or separately in the Social Media Details. If you decide to add your social media details, make sure you update your LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter accounts of any photographs or messages that may make you look or sound unprofessional. It’s also a wise choice to personalize your social media URLs. Follow the instructions from the links on the Zoodal contact details page. Additionally, there are links in the description below.
